Death toll from forest fire raging in Portugal climbs to 57


"All this is done to help Portugal officials and people at this time," said the assistant president of the European Commission, Christos Stiliens.



At least 57 people have been killed in forest fire from Saturday in central Portugal, a government official said.


"The great tragedy of the human lives we witnessed over the years in Portugal," Prime Minister Antonio Costa made comments on television. He was led by Sunday after his visit to the president.
